convenience stores in
the UK.
If you are watching your salt
intake
you can use the GDA to make the best choice for your needs:
- Check: a quick look at the GDA label shows that the BLT sandwich contains 3.1 grams of
salt, that’s 52 percent of the GDA. The chicken fajita wrap contains 1.1 grams
of salt, which is 18 percent of the GDA - Compare: Of the two products we can see the wrap contains less salt than the sandwich.
In fact 2 grams less salt, which is 34 percent less of the GDA - Choose: If you are watching your salt intake you might want to choose the wrap because
it contains less salt than the sandwich. If you do decide to choose the
sandwich
make sure you keep checking labels on the foods you choose throughout the day
so
you stay well within the 6 gram GDA for salt.
