Funding growth and innovation in the food & drink industry

Back to events

8 July 2014

Event, Hallam View, Sheffield Hallam University, City Campus

Sheffield Hallam University invites you to hear about the latest developments in
government funding for the food and drink industry. You will also learn about
one of the most successful funding mechanisms – Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
(KTPs) – and how this could improve the competitiveness and profitability of
your
business.

You will hear directly from the Technology Strategy Board’s regional KTP Advisor
on how the scheme works and the benefits companies such as yours could gain.

Sheffield Hallam University has been successfully involved in Knowledge Transfer
Partnerships for nearly thirty years. As a delegate, you’ll be able to find out
how you can tap into the University’s resources and expertise, in particular
the
new National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering, and hear how other
companies have already enjoyed success through working with us. Dr John Foster
MBE,
Managing Director of Fosters Bakery will explain how the company has benefited
from a longstanding relationship with the University which started with a KTP.

The event is free to attend and will also include a free of charge follow-up
consultancy session after the event to discuss your ideas and challenges with
our
experts.

Book your place online or contact the Business Gateway on 0114 225 5000 for more information.
